About

The Malta Bend Cemetery was founded in 1985, north of the town of Malta Bend, MO on land donated by the Lunbeck family. The Plattner family later donated land to the south and to the north of the original cemetery for expansion. More recently the Lewellyn family donated additional land on the north side for future expansion.

The cemetery is privately funded primarily through individual donations and is managed by a board of directors.

Donations can be given in person on Memorial Day weekend or by using our online Donate feature.
